Beautiful Private Holiday Villa with large swimming pool located in the Orange Grove countryside of Canals, 15 minutes from the historic and popular town of Xativa.

Villa Iris is available from September for holidays or longer term (please enquire for details).

Sleeps 6 in the main Villa and can have further 2 in the seperate Casita (total 8) - CAR IS ESSENTIAL

Can offer up to 2 more on pull-out beds for supplement fee if required, making maximum of 10 people. (Enquire for details)

The villa is located in a private, fully fenced and gated garden of around 4000m2 surrounded by orange groves. The villa is a two storey property offering 3 bedrooms on the upper floor, the master bedroom has its own private balcony with fabulous countryside and mountain views. The second bedroom is a double and the third bedroom is a twin room with low level cabin bunks. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans for the summer.

On the lower floor there is a good size lounge which has stairs to the upper floor, there is a T.V. with Satellite and a DVD player, large open fire for the winter and two free-standing heaters. There are two large cieling fans to keep it cool in the summer.

On the same floor is the family bathroom with full size bath with shower over, seperate show cubicle, vanity sink and w.c..

The kitchen is off the lounge and is a good size, fully fitted with oven/hob/extractor, dishwasher, double sink, built in fridge and seperate freezer and ample cupboards. Furnished with cuttlery and place settings for up to 12 people and ample cooking utensils/pots and pans etc. There is also a kettle, toaster and microwave oven for your use.

From the kitchen is the seperate dining room with lots of natural light as it has lots of windows plus two patio doors, one leading to the rear of the villa the other to the side. There is a lovely country style dining table with seating for 6 people, this is a lovely room for candle light dinners, rustic in style and very homely. There is a gas estufa for heating in the winter, a rustic sideboard that houses all the plates, cups, dishes etc for dining and caters for us to 12 diners and a radio cassette player for background music while you dine.

Outside:- to the front of the Villa is a covered terrace with patio furniture for dining seating 6 people. Lovely for dining 'Al Fresco' on the long hot summer days and with the mediterranean climate dining out often goes all year round even when raining! In front of the terrace is a patio area that leads to the steps up to the pool terrace. The pool is large with a stepped shallow area for the kids and a deep end for those who want to swim. It is a larger than average pool and is fully filtered. The surrounding terraces of the pool offer plenty of space for sun-bathing with ample sunbeds and deck chairs. During the summer months there is also a gazibo for shade or you can move the dining area up to the pool if you prefer. The gazibo is only put up during the summer months, usually from June to September. To the side of the pool terrace are steps leading down to the BBQ area where there is a gas BBQ for your use and the summer kitchen (which also houses the pool pump). The summer kitchen has a large fridge/freezer for you use and also has a butler sink with cold water only.

The Casita is to the right of the summer kitchen. The Casita is available as a supplement and has a double bedroom (sleeping a further 2 people) and an ensuite bathroom with full bath with shower over, vanity sink and w.c. There is also a T.V. with satellite (currently only German channels on this one). It is a good size and is great for either older children or if you are holidaying with older parents or grandparents. Please ask for prices if you require the Casita in addition to the main Villa.

The rest of the garden is partly laid to a small pine copse complete with hammock in the middle! This is a lovely shaded area and ideal for kids to play in safely. Further down the driveway toward the entrance gates there are two orange groves, one to each side of the drive. Again ideal playing areas for children, all fenced as part of the whole plot so with the gates shut and locked children cant wander off.

The property offers total privacy and is about 5/7 minutes by car to the town of Canals which has shops, bars, restaurants, supermarket and pretty much everything you need for supplies. Xativa is approximately 15 minutes by car and is a larger town with many places of historic interest including the Castle at the top of the mountain which overlooks the whole area.

As the Villa is not walking distance to the town it is essential that you hire a car.

Rental prices are per week:

June 575€ plus 45€ supplement if you require the Casita

July 675€ plus 50€ supplement if you require the Casita

August 775€ plus 60€ supplement if you require the Casita

September 675€ plus 50€ supplement if you require the Casita

October 575€ plus 45€ supplement if you require the Casita

November to March 395€ plus 30€ supplement if you require the Casita

April 450€ plus 35€ supplement if you require the Casita

May 550€ plus 40€ supplement if you require the Casita

Prices do not include airport transfers or flights and the villa is let on a self-catering basis.

There is a damage deposit of €250 euro payable in cash on arrival (or by bank transfer prior to departure) which is refundable in full when the property is left in good condition, with no breakage or damage (deposit can be paid in sterling or euro but is 250 either way and is refundable subject to the property being left in good order, although if there are any damages etc or excessive cleaning required the deposit (or balance of deposit) might take up to 14 days to be refunded).

Meet & Greet service is charged at €35 euro in addition to the weekly rental price. One of our agents will meet you at a pre-designated place and a map will be emailed to you prior to your departure. They will take you to the villa, familiarise you with it, hand over keys and collect the damage deposit (where applicable).

We also provide welcome/refreshment pack(s) for which the fees will be sent to you on application as we have several different packs to choose from.  Details will be sent to you with your booking enquiry reply.

Sorry no pets allowed. Villa Iris has a no smoking policy inside the Villa, however there are ashtrays for you use on the covered terrace outside.

Linen and towells are provided.

Villa Iris is suitable for family holidays, hen parties, stag parties, wedding bride/groom and or guests. We are sorry but at the moment Villa Iris does not have disabled or wheelchair facilities although the one bedroom one bathroom Casita is on one level and the garden is flat, there are steps up to the pool.

Villa Iris is 45 minutes from the Golf courses of Valencia, 50 minutes to Oliva Nova Golf, 45 minutes to Valencia airport, 90 minutes to Alicante airport with easy access to the motorways.
